We want to support more people to rebuild their lives after a stroke and need your help. We're urgently seeking volunteers with over one years' lived experience of stroke to offer support through Weekly Volunteer Calls - Here For You.

As a Lived Experience Telephone Volunteer, you will be matched with other stroke survivors or carers and will call them to offer a listening ear and share your experiences. Talking things through on the phone can build people’s confidence and help them to feel more connected, supported, and able to take the next step in their recovery.

Please have a look at the Lived Experience telephone volunteer role descriptionto find out more.

Volunteering can also help you to develop or gain new skills. Many of our volunteers tell us they feel they make a real difference by helping people understand stroke better and learn new ways to cope.
