Description

Come along to your local stroke group in Newcastle (NI) and meet others who have been affected by stroke. You’ll be able to share your experiences and tips for managing stroke as well as enjoying a range of activities, both for fun and rehabilitation. Our Stroke Association Voluntary Groups offers stroke survivors and carers opportunities to meet and be involved in activities managed by the group.
The culture and activities of the group are led by its members. All stroke survivors and their carers are welcome and take advantage of the continuous support available for as long as they wish to continue attending.
If you or someone you know has had a stroke, you’ll understand the impact it can have on daily life, from mobility problems and communication difficulties to emotional difficulties. Remember that you’re not alone and our groups are a safe environment for you to meet other stroke survivors/carers.
