Stroke information
Regularly drinking too much alcohol raises your risk of a stroke. Alcohol contributes to a number of conditions that can increase your risk of stroke, so it's important that you don't drink more than the recommended limit on a regular basis.
This guide explains the link between drinking alcohol and stroke, and gives practical tips on how you can cut down. It also explains what the government guidelines say about recommended alcohol limits and lists some other sources of advice and support you may find useful.
