What did our aphasia testing group say?

The aphasia testing group liked:

  • The software is easy to use and my therapist could set tasks for me.
  • Before an activity, the instructions are read aloud and are written on the screen.
  • There are a large number of activities.
  • The group liked that the activities could be made easier or more difficult.
  • There is the chance to try out the trial version for 30 days.

“There were so many activities to choose from. It felt like there was something for everyone in our group.”

Our aphasia testing group found some parts challenging:

  • The group felt it was helpful to use the app with someone so that they could get used to the app.
  • Signing in can be difficult.
  • Group members felt they could get around this by saving their details on their personal devices.
  • We tested the software using tablets but some in the group struggled with touch screens.
  • In the future they would want to use their laptop and mouse to complete activities.

What did a speech and language therapist say?

There are lots of activities to choose from.

The activities include language skillspractical skills like working with money as well as reading and writing.

I like that I would be able to set activities and level of difficulty for my patients.

When I log on I can also see the results from their activities and this helps me set future activities.
